Marton Takacs received his PhD degree in 2007 at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). He is currently associate professor at Department of Manufacturing Science and Engineering of BME. Between 2007-2015 he worked at Szent István University’s Ybl Miklós Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, where he was appointed as college professor in 2011, and served as vice dean from 2010-2014. He was the Head of Department of Building Materials between 2009-2012. His main scientific interest and research activity focus on modern building materials, concrete technology, manufacturing technology, micro- and nanotechnology. He prepared numerous expert’s report about failure of building materials. He is the author and co-author of 70 journal article and conference papers.
Adel Francis is an associate Professor, in the Construction Engineering Department, École de technologie supérieure, ETS, Quebec University. He holds a BS degree in civil engineering (1982), a Master degree in Project management (1992) and a PhD degree in Project Planning and computer management (2004). He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Civil engineer. His primary research interests are focused on visualization, optimization and graphical modeling of project planning. The last decade has been primarily dedicated to the study, analysis, development and implementation of a Chronographic modeling approach for construction operation planning. He has also more than 25 years of relevant industrial relevant experience in the field of construction engineering. Within these years, he worked for public services, consulting engineering groups and general contractor corporations.
