Aleš Tomek is Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University(CTU) in Prague and Head of Construction Engineering and Management Department.

Renata Schneiderova Heralova is an Associated Professor at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Construction Economics. Her areas of interest/expertise are estimation, cost management, life cycle cost analysis, appraisal of real estates, and value analysis. She is the author and co-author of 10 books and has also published in international journals and conferences. She is active as Expert Witness. She is a member of Educational Committee of The European Council of Construction Economists.
Tomáš Hanák is Assistant Professor of Construction Economics and Management at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering. His current research interests focus on business economics, risk management, construction procurement, energy efficiency and housing sustainability. Tomáš Hanák received his Ph.D. in 2007 from the Brno University of Technology. He is the author/co-author of two monographs, expert opinions and has also published extensively in international reviewed journals and conferences in the area of his specialization. Dr. Hanák also serves as editor of 3 international research journals and as a member of scientific committees of several foreign conferences. He put considerable emphasis on international cooperation in research as well as in teaching activities. He realized shorter term visits at 11 foreign universities in Europe inclusive of 3 invited lectures.
Shabtai Isaac is an assistant professor of structural engineering at Ben Gurion University, Beer-Sheva, Israel. He holds a Ph.D. (2011) from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Technion, Haifa, Israel. His primary research interests are in design management, building evacuation, and construction safety. Dr. Isaac is member of the board of directors of the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC). He received the Olenick Award (2008) and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Award (2011) at the Technion for his research, as well as awards in 2011 and 2012 for teaching at the Technion and at Ben-Gurion University. He has published papers in the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (ASCE), Construction Management and Economics and Automation in Construction.
Li-Yin SHEN was a professor in the Department of Building & Real Estate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before he joined Chongqing University of China in 2012 as a distinguished professor in the Faculty of Construction Management and Real Estate. Shen received his first class BSc in Mechanical Engineering in Construction from Chongqing University, his PgD in Management Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China, and his PhD in Construction Management from University of Reading of UK. Shen’s major research interests are in the areas of Sustainable Built Environment; Risk Management for Built Environment; and Sustainable Competitiveness for Construction Business. Shen has published widely research works in international journals. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Construction Management, the Founding President of the Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management. He is the Director of the International Research Centre for Sustainable Built Environment based in Chongqing University. Shen has a number of external appointments in the capacity of Honorary Professor and Visiting Professor.
